Java の新ロゴ
FreeML JavaOne ML に投稿された JavaOne 2003 のレポート によれば、Java のロゴが新しくなったらしい。
さっそく確認のために Java屋の聖地 を訪れてみると、確かになんか違う感じが…
ちなみに古いロゴは以下のような感じだったので、確かにコーヒーの絵も単純化しているし、Java のフォントも飾りのないものに変更されている。
実際同じサイズで並べてみると、新しいロゴのほうが、だんぜん見やすいのは事実ですな。
最初見たときに「どこが変わったんだぁ？」と思ったけど旧ロゴと比べると「お、オシャレになった」（笑）。
それでもJavaが登場した頃はあの旧ロゴ（とDukeくん）にワクワクしたのを思い出しました。
個人的にJavaは好きな言語なのでがんばって欲しいなぁ、と思うこのごろでした。
僕は一昨年の JavaOne SF に参加したのですが、それと比べると今年の話は、だいぶ縮小気味な感じです…
まぁ、景気や戦争の影響もあるのかもしれませんが、がんばって欲しいですねぇ。
